Princeton Schools Deserve
Hello, I ‘m Steve Moore.  I am pursuing a position on the Princeton School Board.  I need and would appreciate your support to get elected, on November 6th, 2007.

Working with the schools is exciting--I have passion for helping our children and schools. I have a strong belief that each and every child in our district is capable of excellence. I’ve recently retired and have 30 years in business and Research & Development...almost all of it with Procter & Gamble.     I have the extra time  and capabilities to contribute.

I hope to use my  problem solving and leadership skills to make a lasting, sustainable difference in the Princeton School District.
My Guiding Principles and Priorities:

-Job One  for  schools is Student Achievement.  For Princeton School District my top priority is academic excellence for ALL Students--whether they are struggling students needing special attention, good/solid students who need a challenging environment, or gifted students who need unique programs to actualize full potential

-My second priority is Operational Excellence--both fiscally and strategically.  We need to use the best operating approaches to save and spend money wisely without  compromising quality.  Also, we need to be more disciplined in developing mid and long term strategies to address our difficult dilemmas and opportunities.  In my view, we are often too reactionary to short term urgencies and complaints.

-My third priority is re-energizing Princeton Pride.  When I came to Cincinnati 30 years ago Princeton was the school district of choice, due to its academic excellence.  Our programs have only gotten better and stronger.  We have let media and other situations create uncertainty and untruths about who we are. We need to proactively manage our reputation and gain greater community involvement in our programs.
