My Guiding Principles and Priorities:
-Job One for schools is Student Achievement. For Princeton School District my top priority is academic excellence for ALL Students--whether they are struggling students needing special attention, good/solid students who need a challenging environment, or gifted students who need unique programs to actualize full potential
-My second priority is Operational Excellence--both fiscally and strategically. We need to use the best operating approaches to save and spend money wisely without compromising quality. Also, we need to be more disciplined in developing mid and long term strategies to address our difficult dilemmas and opportunities. In my view, we are often too reactionary to short term urgencies and complaints.
-My third priority is re-energizing Princeton Pride. When I came to Cincinnati 30 years ago Princeton was the school district of choice, due to its academic excellence. Our programs have only gotten better and stronger. We have let media and other situations create uncertainty and untruths about who we are. We need to proactively manage our reputation and gain greater community involvement in our programs.
